THIS COULD BE YOUR CUB
or.....
COULD THIS BE YOUR CUB?!
Whilst our weekly meetings need to focus on the core requirements for the Chief Scout's Silver Award, there are many badges which our Cubs can do at home. This website previously contained worksheets for them but many of the requirements were updated by the Scout Association in September 2025.

Please visit their website at https://www.scouts.org.uk/cubs/activity-badges/ for a list of all the badges which are available. Then print off the requirements for the badges which your Cub is interested in and bring along evidence when they have completed it to one of our Thursday meetings.

Please avoid doing the following badges (which are covered during our meetings and activities) although it's no problem if your Cub has already done any of these:

AIR ACTIVITIES, ATHLETIICS & ATHLETICS PLUS, BACKWOODS COOKING, COMMUNITY IMPACT, CYCLIST, DISABILITY AWARENESS, EMERGENCY AID, ENTERTAINER, FIRE SAFETY, GARDENER, GLOBAL ISSUES, HIKES AWAY, INTERNATIONAL, LOCAL KNOWLEDGE, MONEY SKILLS, NATURALIST, NAUTICAL SKILLS, NAVIGATOR, NIGHTS AWAY, PADDLE SPORTS, SAILING, SCIENTIST, TIME ON THE WATER, WATER ACTIVITIES.

With thanks to former Cub Joseph for the loan of his jumper as shown above to demonstrate just how many badges can be achieved!

NOTE - During the Autumn/Winter term 2025 we visited Southgate Fire Station to count towards the Fire Safety badge and also the RAF Museum to count towards the Air Activities Stages 1 and 2 badges. If any of our Cubs (or future Cubs) missed either of the meetings preceding these visits, below are the 'gap fill' requirements to be done at home to complete these badges:
